We at the Skanray craft our generator for better safety and efficiency using state-of-the-art technology which boasts impressive reliability and satisfaction, delivering the best image quality at optimized dose levels.

With this goal in mind, R&D engineers at Skanray worked together to pack premium and meaningful technologies so that you get the best in the world, which works reliably and cost less to maintain. Let me give you a few examples to highlight my point.

The all-new 40KW and 50KW generator from Skanray comes with ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) and ZCS (Zero Current switching) technologies. These technologies allow taking benefits of “normal” transistor technology and avoiding the switching losses to deliver efficiency. The “HF losses” are controlled by using a “Hybrid” control algorithm which can mix two classical but powerful techniques. These two techniques are intended to drive two different modes: super or hypo resonant operation. This innovative Hybrid Algorithm selects the most efficient and effective mode depending on the kV-mA loading parameters and it automatically restricts extreme frequencies (too low frequencies are audible for human ears and too high generates other problems). This is achieved using advanced algorithms running on FPGAs and microcontrollers.

Another innovation you will find in these generators is the modular High Voltage Tank design that makes easy scaling and adaption to higher specifications.
